Health Office - School Nurse
August 2025
Dear Cherokee Families,
Cherokee nurses Keri Connors and Jeannine Gabel would like to welcome you all to the 2025-2026 school year! It is such a pleasure to be in the position to care for your child and to provide them with a warm, safe and secure environment.
The staff in our health office strives to assure that your child has a positive experience and may enter our office free of fear and anxiety.
Please take some time visiting the Nurse's page on our website for information on medication administration, immunizations and physical exams as well as the necessary forms. All medications must have a doctor's order, even over the counter medications. Physical exams are required for K, 1, 3, 5 and new students and must be within one calendar year of the start of school. If you are on a catch up vaccine schedule, a proof of appointment letter from the doctor is required.
We are always here to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to both welcoming back our existing as well as our newest Cherokee families! Enjoy the rest of the summer.
