Welcome to the Cherokee Library! Students will come to the library weekly to borrow books, but that is only one part of what happens in Library. Library skills are life skills. Students are gaining the tools necessary to be productive citizens in the 21st century. They are learning information literacy skills, including how to locate, evaluate, and utilize various resources to fulfill their information needs. They are becoming responsible digital citizens. And of course, they are developing an appreciation of a variety of genres of fiction. We're looking forward to a great year!
