Cherokee Street Elementary School

During their FLES lessons, Ms. Rothmeier celebrated Cinco de Mayo with students by teaching them about the holiday’s customs and traditions. Students also created their own maracas, providing an opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich musical culture connected to the celebration. The engaging lesson combined language, culture, creativity, and hands-on learning.
